Electrodeposition of thin tantalum layers from ionic liquids and measurement of their electrical properties
Svobodová, Ivana ; Boušek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Šimůnková, Helena (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the electrodeposition of tantalum from ionic solution 1-butyl-1- methylpyrrolidinium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl) imide, ([BMP]Tf2N) at 200°C and description of related transfer and kinetic phenomena on the interface between the ionic solution and working electrode. Furthermore, the electrodeposition of tantalum layers in different ionic solutions containing tantalum salts and especially in ([BMP]Tf2N) is introduced. In the last part of the thesis, results of cyclic voltammetry, surface analysis SEM and elemental analysis EDX are discussed. MIS (metal-insulator-semiconductor) structure was determined comprising porous anodic alumina as the insulator and semiconductive TaxOy on the top of the insulator. The electric conductivity of the MIS structures was studied by using amper-volt IV and CV characteristics. The results of the cyclic voltametry, impedance spectroscopy and chronoamperometry are discussed.
Using of liquid scrubbers for the removing of air pollutants
Straka, Ondřej ; Kalivoda, Josef (referee) ; Svěrák, Tomáš (advisor)
Diploma thesis concerned with separation of carbon dioxide from gas mixture. Elimination of gas is made by absorption into liquid phase. Theoretical part is based on study of mass transport through gas and liquid interphase. Experimental part deal with absorption of carbon dioxide to caustic soda solution via gass scrubber.

Vícesložkový transport hmoty v nosiči membrán modelovaný pomocí náhodné třírozměrné sítě pórů
Čapek, P. ; Hejtmánek, Vladimír
The main objective of this work is to demonstrate unusual phenomena that attend transport of multicomponent mixtures of ideal gases in the porous membrane support represented by the pore network model. For this purpose, we simulated isobaric counter- current diffusion of binary and ternary mixtures. We also simulated viscous slip flow of multicomponent mixtures in order to show the significance of small pressure gradients on overall mass transport.
The Influence of Vorticity on the Passive Scalar Transport in Oscillatory Flow
Vališová, K. ; Knob, Martin ; Adamec, J.
The work follows the previous knowledge of the influence of flow separation region on the mass transport in lungs. The knowledge is generalized and the work focuses on the influence of vorticity on the passive scalar transport at given flow conditions, i.e. the oscillatory flow.
